UC Annual Mandatory S.H.A.P.E Training for All Students
At the University of California, Riverside (UCR), we know how important it is for all students to have a safe and healthy community. As a part of UCR’s commitment to create a healthy environment that is safe, mutually respectful, and free from harassment and violence, including sexual violence, ALL students, including transfer and graduate students are expected to complete the mandatory online training courses by Monday, October 20, 2025.
You can access the training by logging into CANVAS with your Student Net ID and Password.
All students are required to complete this course annually.
We understand that these trainings contain sensitive content, which may be difficult to process for some. The Division of Health, Well Being and Safety provides resources and support for UC Riverside students and includes offices like CAPS, CARE, and Case Management.
Any concerns about your ability to complete the module can be directed to onlineeducation@ucr.edu. If you have difficulty logging in, check out the technical info at the bottom of this page.
Thank you in advance for completing these critical courses and helping us keep UCR a safe and welcoming community for everyone. Highlanders believe in the integrity, respect and dignity of others. The hope is that these conversations, along with our other continuous efforts on campus, will give you the necessary information and tools to help you uphold the pillars of our community.
